Perhaps Elon Musk has recently forgotten about Dogecoin, but we haven’t and we’re pleased to announce that even more cryptocurrencies are now available to Alpari clients for trading! In addition to Dogecoin, you can now trade in such popular cryptocurrencies as Cardano, Tron (TRON) and a number of others.
New financial instruments have been added to other popular cryptocurrencies that Alpari's clients have already used: Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and Ripple. Thus, almost all cryptocurrencies that deserve the attention of traders are now represented in the Alpari line of instruments, and clients of the international financial brand can easily use them to make money on the familiar MetaTrader terminal, with convenient deposit and withdrawal options.
All cryptocurrencies, including those already used by Alpari's clients (albeit in an updated format), will be available for trading only on an ECN.MT5 account as it offers the quickest and most stable execution. At the same time, old cryptocurrency instruments (BTCUSD, XRPUSD, LTCUSD, XBNUSD and ETHUSD) on ECN.MT5 accounts will be switched over to Close Only mode on November 15, 2021 and will subsequently be taken offline on December 15, 2021 with mandatory closure of all open positions. You are kindly requested to take this information into account when planning your trading.
At the same time, old cryptocurrency-based instruments will still be available for trading on other types of accounts. As for the new instruments for all cryptocurrencies, special transaction fees will apply, as explained in the Help section on our website.
We would also like to remind you that Alpari clients can use popular cryptocurrencies to fund accounts and withdraw cash with zero commission, and recently it became possible to trade cryptocurrency CFDs around the clock (with a break from 14:00 to 15:00 GMT 3, every Saturday). This option is currently available on Standard.MT5 and ECN.MT5 accounts.
